Katherine Rane
We are pleased to welcome Katherine Rane to the Vibe Faculty this year. Katherine is currently a principle dancer with Utah Regional Ballet and has performed as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, and Spanish roles in productions of The Nutcracker. Katherine attended Brigham Young University on a full tuition academic scholarship where she received her BA in Dance with a Ballet Emphasis. Upon her graduation, Katherine was the Department Valedictorian and graduated Cum Laude. She performed as a principle dancer with the BYU Ballet Company and as a guest artist for University of New Mexico where she performed the role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. Katherine also won the title of Miss Dance/Drill Team USA as well as Miss Dance/Drill Team International. Katherine’s teaching experience includes a teaching assistant position at the BYU Dance department where she taught the beginning and intermediate ballet classes. She has taught at local area studios including Elite Dance Factory in Ogden, Studio 56 in Murray, and at the College of Southern Idaho summer dance camps.
